Salmat ’s former chief executive, Grant Harrod, this week will take up reins as the head Australia’s highest-profile real estate agency, LJ Hooker.

Appointed by LJ Hooker chairman Greg Paramor to take the place of Georg Chmiel , Mr Harrod would like to grow the group’s presence in Victoria and Western Australia, but the main priority is to evaluate and develop its online offerings.
