Information about former employees of HTW may have been compromised by a data breach, according to two sources who also said it was a result of hackers penetrating an IT platform the national valuations firm used.
The sources said the troubled firm – which along with rivals CBRE and Opteon is one of the country’s three largest valuers of residential and commercial property – had been contacting former employees to let them know about the breach.
