Western Australia is struggling to bring its building costs down, even as residential construction prices finally ease across most of the country after surging by more than 40 per cent since the start of the pandemic.
Most states recorded a decrease in home building costs except for Western Australia and Queensland, which recorded growth of 5.4 per cent and 2 per cent respectively.
