Gen Z women fall behind homeownership

Slightly more Australian women own property compared to men; however, younger females are falling well behind their male counterparts when it comes to home ownership, a new poll finds.

Overall, 68.2 per cent of women own at least one property – including owner-occupied and investment properties – marginally higher than men at 67.4 per cent, according to a survey conducted by Lonergan Research for CoreLogic’s 2024 Women & Property research.
