Building products group CSR expects strong upside in its Bradford insulation and solar energy business from a tie-up with Tesla as the United States pioneer in electric cars prepares to roll out its new high-tech solar roof tiles products in Australia.

Bradford, one of CSR's businesses, is already the largest installer of Tesla home storage batteries in this country, and the group expects robust take-up of the Tesla solar roof tiles once the product completes all the testing and gains a regulatory rubber stamp from Australian authorities.
