Cosmetic industry entrepreneur Babak Moini’s bold Mosman home has sold for $14.6 million, with the Laser Clinics Australia co-founder blaming the lack of a vibrant social scene for his departure from Sydney’s lower north shore.
The sale marks a hefty advance on the $6.49 million the Muston Street retreat sold for in 2015 when Moini bought it from then-chairman of telco company Vertel, David Findlay. But it also marks a haircut from the initial price hopes of selling between $16 million and $17.5 million when it first hit the market in May last year.
