CEFC to put up to $60m into discount green home loans

The federal government's Clean Energy Finance Corporation (CEFC) is investing up to $60 million in discount new green home loans to boost construction of energy-efficient homes and help reduce household emissions.
The new Bank Australia Clean Energy Home Loan will offer qualifying builders and home buyers a 0.4 percentage point discount for up to five years on mortgages worth $1.5 million or less.
