CEFC to spend up to $95 million on energy-efficient homes in NSW
The federal government's Clean Energy Finance Corporation has extended a four-year track record of investing in energy-efficient, affordable housing by striking an agreement worth up to $95 million with NSW-based regional community housing provider Housing Plus.
Under the three-year agreement, the CEFC, which first invested in residential accommodation in 2015, will fund the development of 220 homes in Bathurst, Dubbo and Orange built to the 7-Star National Housing Energy Rating System (NatHERS) standard.
