National valuation firm Herron Todd White has been suspended from new work by the country’s largest banks after suffering a data breach affecting its commercial and agricultural property valuation platforms.

HTW, which along with rivals CBRE and Opteon is one of the country’s three largest property valuers, said it first detected the data breach last Friday, but declined to give any details of the attack or say how it occurred.
