Top engineers left unpaid on Australia’s tallest apartment project

An estimated 30 firms, including engineering giants AECOM and Arup, are owed money by developer Beulah International for work they have done planning Australia’s tallest residential project – the $2.7 billion Sth Bnk mixed-use development, which now faces an uncertain future.

Beulah put its development entity into administration last week after architects Cox Architecture and UNStudio lodged a wind-up order in the Supreme Court of Victoria, but a much larger pool of creditors remains unpaid by BSSPV Pty Ltd, which stopped paying bills in December 2023.
