‘Huge demand’: Australia’s largest design firm expands worldwide

Woods Bagot’s revenue from overseas will increasingly overtake that from home-grown activities, as Australia’s largest design firm expands new service offerings such as a luxury hotel design specialist business and a wider range of consulting services.

The 150-year-old firm that started life with the design of Adelaide’s St Peter’s Cathedral opened its London-based Customs Bureau hotel business two years ago to service the “huge demand” for luxury hospitality in Europe and the Middle East, says new chief executive Sarah Kay.
