ASX-listed operators of cinemas, pubs, and themes parks Event, Redcape and Ardent Leisure face the prospect of earnings wipeouts after being hit hard by the first-stage shutdown of non-essential services in the battle to contain the COVID-19 outbreak.
Redcape Hotel Group entered a trading halt on Monday as it assessed the impact of the national shutdown of clubs, pubs, sporting venues, churches, cinemas, gyms and casinos on its 32-strong pub and pokies business.
