The administrators of collapsed construction giant Probuild are dealing with at least 2300 individual creditors and that number was more than they could contact by post before Friday’s creditors’ meeting, their lawyer has said.

The number of creditors had also grown unexpectedly by 300 on Tuesday when the administrators’ representatives came across large numbers of people still on Probuild sites who had not been included in the list of creditors supplied by the company management, Hamish Austin, QC said.
