Office tenants inundate landlords with rent relief requests

Office tower landlords are being inundated with requests for rent-free periods and abatements from tenants – some looking for a free ride – as businesses take a hit from the COVID-19 pandemic.
It comes as Prime Minister Scott Morrison this week told landlords and tenants to negotiate directly with one another to keep businesses afloat.
