‘Big gorilla’ Stack buys into Aussie data centre business
Builder and developer Hickory has sold a controlling share of its data centre division to US-based Stack Infrastructure just 12 months after revealing it had entered the booming space with the purchase of a site in Melbourne’s western suburbs.
Hickory chief executive and director Michael Argyrou said the business, renamed Stack Australia, already had a $1.5 billion hyperscale data centre pipeline and the partnership would accelerate its ambitious growth plans.
