Property powerbroker Barry Brakey, who previously headed the Future Fund’s real estate business, is back in action in the local market, bringing over European investment house CC Real to partner with non-bank lender Madigan Capital.

An influential operator with a global network, Mr Brakey stepped down from his post at Australia’s sovereign wealth fund in 2018, after a decade in the high-flying role presiding over a series of landmark deals.
