An infill development in suburban Melbourne, worth $250 million or more, is up for grabs, one of the largest such opportunities in recent years as its joint owner, ASX-listed Abacus Property Group, exits legacy investments to focus on its expanding self-storage business.

The sprawling 14-hectare East Bentleigh site at 236-262 East Boundary Road, held jointly by Abacus and local developer Gillion Group, has been rezoned, creating significant development potential.
