What Queensland tells the Liberal Party
If you do not tell your story, then others will fill the vacuum. That is a lesson for political parties and businesses too.
Jason FalinskiColumnistThe Queensland election shows that when the Liberal Party campaigns on values and economic issues and does not get suckered into culture wars, it tends to end up winning.
However, the over-reliance by the parties on small target politics, arguing for change – rather than painting what the change looks like – has created a vacuum now being filled with nonsense.
