WA leaders urge McGowan to repair relationships and reputation
Diane Smith-Gander, one of Western Australia’s most senior business leaders, has called on Premier Mark McGowan to boost his engagement with the business community, claiming the state’s relationship with Australia “needs a lot of work” after two years of border closures.
After Mr McGowan on Friday unveiled March 3 as the state’s new reopening date for quarantine-free travel for the triple vaccinated, Ms Smith-Gander said “it’s a great relief to have a date and to have clarity”.
