Victorian independent candidate Clarke Martin says the teal wave could be replicated in the state election as he looks to win a seat in Liberal heartland.
Mr Martin, a former clearance diver with the Royal Australian Navy, on Thursday announced he will run against Liberal MP Brad Rowswell in Sandringham, which falls within the federal seat of Goldstein, won by ex-ABC journalist Zoe Daniel in May.
