Leading barrister and novelist Richard McHugh, SC, has followed in the footsteps of his father, Michael, with his appointment to the NSW Court of Appeal on Wednesday.

NSW Attorney-General Michael Daley said Mr McHugh was a “true generalist” with three decades of experience and that his family had “a strong tradition of service to the people of NSW”.
