NSW Labor appears to be on track to win the March 25 state election according to polling in a key Liberal-held seat, which suggests the opposition leads with a wide enough margin to form a majority government.
Labor leads 54-46 on a two-party preferred basis in the north-western Sydney seat of Riverstone, according to The Australian Financial Review Freshwater Strategy NSW Poll.
An earlier version of this article said Labor had failed to field a candidate in the seat in 2019. This is incorrect and has been updated.
