Sydney train strikes to end after pay deal struck

Sydney commuters will be spared the prospect of train strikes resuming in July after a pay deal was struck on Friday between the Minns government and rail unions.

Under the deal negotiated in the Fair Work Commission, Sydney Trains and NSW TrainLink employees will receive a 12 per cent pay increase over three years, plus back pay.
