Cost of living dominates a fiery NSW leaders’ debate

NSW Premier Dominic Perrottet has attacked Labor leader Chris Minns’ economic credentials and spending promises in the NSW election campaign, as the Coalition attempts to convince voters that Labor’s pledge to scrap a public sector wage cap and privatisation will blow the budget.

The two party leaders clashed in a fiery debate on 2GB Radio in Sydney on Thursday morning, where Mr Minns attacked the government’s privatisation program that he claimed had lifted household bills, the price of utilities, tolls and other services across the state.
