Toowoomba’s millionaire Wagner family says it has provided the federal government with all the information it needs to approve its plans for a privately built 1000-bed quarantine facility west of Brisbane.
The facility, which could have 500 beds ready to go within six weeks if given the green light by the Morrison government, would take the pressure off the existing hotel quarantine system and minimise the risk of COVID-19 infection for staff.
