Qld edges closer to hard border with NSW

Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk is close to pulling the trigger on a hard border closure with NSW as the coronavirus situation in the southern state takes a turn for the worse.
While the Palaszczuk government has flagged an easing of its own coronavirus restrictions on Friday after seven days of no local cases, Ms Palaszczuk said she would not hesitate to take action on the NSW border if there was spread outside greater Sydney.
