Prospect lottery winner takes all

Leith Beal yesterday secured Australia's most prospective gold-mining tenements when their ownership was decided by the drawing of a plastic lotto ball from a ballot box in a Perth courtroom.
A year ago it would have been labelled Australia's biggest lottery, with values touted up to $250 million, but with the crashing gold price the draw had lost much of its sting.
