Perrottet’s stamp duty reforms set to be torn up by Minns
A pioneering stamp duty reform aimed at helping home buyers access the market sooner is set to be torn up by the Minns government as it introduces legislation to repeal the Perrottet government’s signature housing affordability package.
On the same day as the Victorian government revealed plans to scrap stamp duty on commercial and industrial properties, NSW Premier Chris Minns introduced legislation to abolish the Perrottet government’s similar stamp duty reforms for first home buyers.
