People flock to internet voting with iVote
This Saturday, people across New South Wales are hitting the polling booths to cast their votes in the state election. But for the 172,339 people who have already voted via iVote, they will get to skip the queues to hit brunch and relax.
The system allows people to vote online, over the phone, or by mobile. It was designed for people with accessibility requirements or who will be out of town this Saturday, but many voters have flouted those eligibility requirements for the sake of convenience.
