Indoor air quality specialist Aeris Technologies has appointed US-based Trane Corp to distribute its bacteria-busting treatment systems across Thailand and the Indo-China region and expects to have a global footprint of distributors in place before the end of next year.

The technology developed by the Australian life sciences outfit prevents fungus and bacteria that can harbour potentially fatal diseases, including legionnaires' disease, from building up in ventilation and water-treatment units.
