NSW plans workers compo cuts for psychological injury claims

The NSW government intends to cut the growing workers’ compensation bill from psychological injury claims in a reform package it says will rebalance towards prevention.

The package, to be brought to NSW parliament within months for possible passage before July 1, will also enact Labor’s promise before the 2023 election to extend workers compensation to the gig economy.
