After 112 days of lockdown, shopping and dining strips across Melbourne sprang to life on Tuesday as business owners scrambled to ready their stores for their long-awaited reopening.

For celebrated chef and restaurateur Guy Grossi, it was a relief to be back at Bourke Street's Grossi Florentino for the first time in months ahead of its Friday reopening.
