Former NSW MP Daryl Maguire had an emotional hold over then-premier Gladys Berejiklian and was a “special kind of serial pest” who influenced her position on funding grants worth tens of millions of dollars, a court has heard.
Ms Berejiklian’s secret relationship with the disgraced regional MP dominated the second day of her NSW Court of Appeal hearing in which she is seeking to throw out findings of corruption by the state’s Independent Commission Against Corruption.
