Lyle Shelton to replace Fred Nile in NSW upper house

Former Australian Christian Lobby boss Lyle Shelton is poised to take the Reverend Fred Nile’s seat in the NSW Legislative Council after the latter announced his retirement over the weekend.
Mr Shelton has flagged a mixed bag of priorities when he takes his seat, including abortion, energy security, poverty and “woke corporations”.
