Incoming NSW premier Chris Minns will appoint his first ministers and form government on Tuesday so the party can kick of fresh public sector wage negotiations, even as postal votes falling to the Liberals in line-ball seats raise the prospect of a minority government.
The NSW Electoral Commission is still tallying votes from Saturday’s state election, which ended 12 years’ of Coalition government in NSW. But there are 12 of 93 seats in the lower house still undeclared, which means Labor only has 45 of the 47 seats required to form majority government.
