Judge takes swipe at ‘contrived’ Palmer case

A Federal Court judge has rejected claims by Clive Palmer’s Mineralogy company over financial statements to ASIC and political donations worth $12 million as “entirely contrived and artificial”.
Justice Michael Wigney said he suspected the litigation over the company’s accounts was “little more than an ill-disguised collateral attack” on criminal proceedings that are pending against Mr Palmer.
