A NSW corruption watchdog probe has cleared former NSW deputy premier John Barilaro and former trade minister Stuart Ayres of any wrongdoing over Mr Barilaro’s appointment to a plum US trade post.
The NSW Independent Commission Against Corruption revealed on Monday afternoon it had dropped its investigation into Mr Barilaro, Mr Ayres and former Investment NSW chief executive Amy Brown, effectively ending the jobs-for-mates scandal which has plagued the Coalition.
