If not now, when, Mr McGowan? It’s a fair question
There will be no easy time for the WA Premier to rip the border sticking plaster off and reopen. But at almost 90 per cent fully vaccinated, if not now, when?
It was always on the cards, but West Australian Premier Mark McGowan’s decision to delay reopening indefinitely was still hard to digest.
Characteristically for a premier who has – so far – benefited politically from the pandemic, he chose local prime time to break the news.
