ICAC asking fresh question about China's influence

The NSW corruption watchdog has opened a new line of inquiry into China's influence on Australian politics, with the former head of the NSW Labor Party Jamie Clements facing fresh scrutiny.

The Australian Financial Review has confirmed the NSW Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) has begun issuing subpoenas over $35,000 in cash Mr Clements received in August 2015 from disgraced Chinese billionaire Huang Xiangmo.
