Home sales, tax blunder push out NSW budget gap

Sluggish home sales, more help with energy bills and a $440 million tax miscalculation have increased the budget deficit in Australia’s most populous state.
Expenses have also blown out $1.4 billion since the June budget, pushing out the 2024-25 deficit from $3.6 billion to $5.0 billion.
