Greens’ power push suffers setback in Brisbane

The Greens’ bold campaign to drastically increase their power in Queensland has stalled, after the party failed to win any of the four seats it was targeting and its two sitting members suffered declines in their primary vote.
Heading into Saturday’s state election the Greens had door-knocked 125,000 homes with the hope of expanding their parliamentary presence from two seats to six.
