Teal independent member for Warringah Zali Steggall unloaded on Prime Minister Scott Morrison at a National Press Club debate in Canberra, saying she questioned his trustworthiness and moral compass.

Appearing on a panel with Greens leader Adam Bandt, United Australia Party leader Craig Kelly, and independent South Australian senator Rex Patrick, Ms Steggall said it came down to a question of trust.
