Foreign Minister Penny Wong has been accused of abandoning Israel in the wake of the brutal October 7 Hamas terror attack, enduring a tense confrontation with her counterpart Gideon Sa’ar over the war in Gaza.
Hebrew-language newspaper Israel Hayom reported on Wednesday that Mr Sa’ar blasted Senator Wong in a phone call earlier this week, described as “a heated verbal argument”.
