Watching Scott Morrison apologise to Brittany Higgins for the mistreatment she faced in the halls of Canberra’s Parliament House, Kate DeSalvo had one response.

“It’s bullshit,” the 28-year-old Central Coast social worker said. “Too little, too late”, DeSalvo said, dismissing the landmark statement of acknowledgment this week as just another example of “Scotty from Marketing” – a floundering prime minister making claims that will not be backed up by action.
