Anthony Albanese has fobbed off complaints by the independents over the proposed national integrity commission, saying legislation to establish the new body will pass with or without them and that they should get on board and not hold up the process
The prime minister pushed back at the teals on Tuesday after several expressed concerns that the parliamentary delay caused by the Queen’s death meant there may not be adequate time to scrutinise the legislation before having to vote.
