Voters want price caps and more gas extracted: new poll

Almost two in three voters support Australia developing more of its natural gas reserves, while a solid majority also backs a price cap on domestic gas, as legislated last week, a new poll shows.
The Freshwater Strategy Poll, conducted exclusively for The Australian Financial Review, also finds the Albanese government starting to consolidate power in its own right after falling across the line at the May 21 election.
