‘Urination incident’ involving public servant referred to police

Allegations of misconduct at the federal government’s pesticides and chemicals authority have been referred to police and public service chiefs following a report sparked by a “private urination incident” at a 2021 party.

A staffer at the Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority quietly resigned from the organisation after a complaint was raised, prompting questions in Senate estimates hearings in November.
