The Albanese government is unravelling in multiple policy and performance areas and is increasingly vulnerable to doubts, indifference and outright attacks. The prospect of two or more terms is diminished (“Dutton in play to take power: poll”). Even the fallback of an arrangement with independents or the Greens looks increasingly problematic.
