Union warns it might back Greens as CFMEU goes to the High Court

The Electrical Trades Union will withhold support for Labor at the federal election and consider backing the Greens in retaliation for the Albanese government forcing the CFMEU into administration.
The ETU donated $1 million to Labor ahead of the 2022 election campaign, but the union’s national secretary, Michael Wright, said on Tuesday the Greens had been on “the right side of history” on union issues.
