Stirling Griff, the lone senator upon whom the government’s final industrial relations hopes rested, said protecting small business was his signature concern over the past few hectic days.
“They were trying to do too much in a short time,” the Centre Alliance Senator said of the government’s omnibus industrial relations bill which was shredded by the Senate on Thursday.
